This week, as I mentioned on Twitter, I decided to do a set of miniature paintings - a Pug, a Cavalier, and a cat, to take to the Gallery, if they haven't sold before I get there. (I can always do more!) These are all 2.5 by 3.5 inches, and painted in the round in Acrylics. By "Painted In The Round, I mean that the sides and back of these tiny paintings are part of the painting. They will be exhibited on small easels painted gold.On Monday, I all but finished the Pug, putting the final details on it on Tuesday. This is the second in my "Brown Eyes" series of miniature Pug Paintings. The first one is sold.
Wednesday, I drew the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Cat. Yesterday, I finished them both.
These tiny things are fun to do, and while miniature, I still aim to get the details correct and a good expression on the little faces.
